Mud Sideboard

The design of the Mud range draws inspiration from the cracked mud plates discovered on the dry riverbed of Sossusvlei in Namibia, which is Abrie's homeland. The sideboard's metal or timber surround is skillfully extended to resemble the branches of a tree, also serving as recessed handle grips for the doors.

Each piece in the Mud range is influenced by the irregular pattern of dry, cracked earth found in the dry riverbeds of Sossusvlei in Namibia, Abrie’s homeland. The interplay between metal or timber in every piece creates a silhouette of tree branches, blending an earthy and contemporary sensibility.
